Four Chaplains Service
Observe this memorable national historic event with your community. St. Stephen's Church, located at 101 E. State Street in Delmar, DE, invites everyone to a patriotic service on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM. During America's 250th birthday year, this service honors Four Army Chaplains of four faiths who gave their lives aboard a sinking U. S. Army Transport ship in February 1943. We will remember their sacrifices through stories, music, candle lighting, and prayers. We welcome church, veteran, family, youth, government, and all interested persons.
